A message from the curator: "Welcome. Our museum has grown significantly since it opened on January 1, 2001 to the public via the Internet. We want your visit to be pleasurable, whether you are here as a student, teacher, or scholar. We therefore have arranged our holdings into geographical areas that will help you find what interests you the most. We hope that you will visit all of the exhibits, if not on this time, when you return. As with all museums, our holdings, displays, and special exhibits are always changing and being updated. This is an active research facility, so you may find evidence of research in progress. Check often for progress, additions and new items. If we can do anything to make your visits more pleasurable, or if you have any suggestions, comments, or questions about the exhibits, please contact me at: curator@morrisonfoundation.org. Please feel free to wander about freely and enjoy the history of music.
Visitors please read before beginning your visit: Below is a floor plan of the foundation museum. Click on a room you would like to visit or choose a destination from the buttons above left. Note: all displays and special exhibits are subject to change. The information desk may be a good starting point for the first time visitor. There, one can find additional guidance and tour information. Before you leave, stop in our book store for books on music and other gift ideas. Now, please begin your visit.
