            I think that this Hymn1 was done by Schirmer. If he should not be able to find a copy, I will ask the members of the Oratorio Society-- some of whom may have preserved a copy.

ABOUT THE COMPOSER

Frank Damrosch (1859-1937), brother to Walter Damrosch (q.v.),  was  a popular choral conductor in New York City. He was a chorus master of the Metropolitan Opera; Supervisor of Music for the New York City schools, and conductor of the Oratorio Society. After founding the prestigious Musical Art Society, he became dean of the Juilliard School of Music.
