  Dear Mrs. Jennings,

I have at last found your
address, which I had mislaid!
We are having a lovely
choir and your valuable
help would be much appreciated,
if you could come to the
two last rehearsals: Saturday
next at 3 o/c [o’clock] and the
following Tuesday at 6 o/c [o’clock]—
at our new house, 72, Princess
Road ( two minutes from County Gates1.
May I hope to see you, and
will you stay for tea on Saturday?

In great haste

 [Truly yours]

 J. Folville

NOTES:

1. County Gates Gyratory, as it is called today, is
a circular road at the convergence of Poole Road,
The Avenue and Wessex Way in Bournemouth, England.
It is, as Folville described, quite close to Princess Road
just to the north.

2. There is no date, but this letter probably dates from between 1914 and 1918.
